About Palladium Prices

Palladium is a rare silvery-white metal belonging to the platinum group. It is primarily used in catalytic converters for petrol-powered vehicles, as well as in electronics and dentistry. Russia and South Africa account for the vast majority of global palladium supply.

Palladium reached an all-time high of over $3,400 per troy ounce in 2022, driven by supply constraints and strong automotive demand. Prices have since moderated as electric vehicle adoption reduces catalytic converter demand.
